SPECIAL EVENT! - Mixed category club teams
Covering all 3 shoots on the Sunday, all shooters will be included in 3 person
teams, mostly by club. Teams can be mixed category (i.e. can be made up of Target Rifle of F-Class Std or Open) with the
MCSI
system used for standardising scores.
WARNING!Hearing protection should be worn while
shooting is in progress.
A special welcome to F-Class shooters This year we will have A and B grades of F-Std, and F-Open all shooting the Super V and scoring out of 60.10. This will allow mixed squadding with TR.
ONE SHOT WONDER!
Don't clean your rifle after the 600 yards on Saturday! There is a bottle of scotch
for the closest shot to the centre at 1000 yards. One shot each,
no sighters, no spotters, measurements revealed only after everyone has
shot.
Relax between matchesWe will have paid
markers led by the Aldridge twins on four targets, so no visitors will
be asked to mark.
The clubhouse has stove, refrigerator, toilets and showers. Lunch, afternoon tea and
refreshments will be available, with a $12 roast dinner on Saturday night.
The area around the clubhouse is sheltered with numerous shade trees. You are welcome to bring a caravan or tent and stay overnight on the range - plenty of powered sites available - book with OPM Secretary (contact details below).

Location Map of the Range
From the centre of Melbourne, Rosedale is a 2 hour drive east, down the Princes Highway. Turn right at the roundabout, drive south for 1.8km, then turn left into
the Rosedale-Stradbroke Road. Drive along this road to the first corner (about 1.2km) and instead of following the bitumen road around to the right, go straight ahead onto
Evergreen (gravel) road, and the Range gateway is about 800 metres further on the right-hand side of the road.
