Ingram Shield at Buchan
29 November 2003
We had a very good attendance from the Rosedale Clubs - the annual pilgrimage to Buchan looks like its here to stay.
Here we all are at the 900 yd mound. This must be one of the few places where you are legally allowed to shoot from the roadside!
There seems to be an unwritten rule that the car with the longest boot takes the longest time to get there.
Bill is finally starting to warm to the idea of F-Class shooting. He is seen here testing out the blackboard as a front rest.
Keith is using a more conventional F-class setup.

By the way, notice the elevation on Gwen's rifle. Apparently the Williamsons are getting low on powder and using very light loads!
Back at the clubhouse for a much needed cold beer.
A great day was had by all, with many thanks to Arthur and Sandra Maiden, for preparing the range and turning on an excellent lunch.
And it can now be confirmed that, unlike last year, Alan arrived home with a complete rifle, including the bolt!
